DATA ENGINEERING
Innovate with a collaborative spirit, engaging data scientists, business analysts, and solution architects to refine data requirements, translate them into ELT designs, and shape new data solutions.
Drive the implementation, testing, and support of cutting-edge data pipelines, utilizing modern tools and processes to optimize data quality for the development of machine learning models.
Pioneer effective techniques for data ingestion, preparation, integration, and operationalization, actively contributing to data compliance and governance efforts.
Develop dynamic ELT pipelines leveraging analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and DBT. Elevate your role in shaping the future of data engineering!
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Immerse yourself in understanding business requirements and use cases through insightful discussions. Foster continuous process improvement initiatives while ensuring seamless service delivery. Craft detailed team documentation and dynamic presentations to enhance clarity and communication.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Cultivate strong collaborations with the IT data science team, data lake house operations, and business units to establish and enhance governance and processes, ensuring responsible tool usage.
Establish a seamless synergy with DevOps, MLOps, and BI Engineers to maximize data availability and accuracy, fine-tuning data quality for the development of advanced machine learning models.
IT SUPPORT
Facilitate day-to-day IT support operations. Ensure a professional and consistent communication of IT services to end users.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- University degree in IT or business administration with a focus on computer science, data science, or data engineering.
- Very good English skills. German is beneficial.
- Experience of at least 3 years with analytics tools such as Azure Data Factory, Trifacta, Snowflake, Databricks.
- Experience with query languages such as SQL, and programming languages (R, Python, Scala).
- SAP knowledge (BW, HANA, SAC), and Analytics front-end tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is beneficial.
- Architectural understanding of databases and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with data science and data lake platforms on modern hyperscalers like Azure or AWS.
- Previous exposure to working in a globally operating international company.
- Enthusiasm for both engineering tasks and implementing business requirements.
- Experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment beneficial.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.471 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
