Lectureship Frontend Engineering
Salzburg University of Applied Sciences employs 450 staff members at its four campuses: Campus Urstein, Campus Kuchl, Campus Uniklinikum Salzburg, and Campus Schwarzach. In 18 bachelor's and 15 master's degree programs, 3,200 students train in the fields of engineering, business and social sciences, design, media & art, as well as health sciences.
For part-time teaching in the Department of Creative Technologies in the MultiMediaTechnology program, we are offering the following external teaching assignment for summer semester 2025.
Frontend Engineering (12 teaching units)
The course is offered in the first year of the Master programme MultiMediaTechnology at Campus Urstein.
Tasks
- Collaborating with the head of the academic area and fellow lecturers to coordinate the syllabus.
- Preparing teaching materials and content.
- Delivering on-site instruction at Campus Urstein.

Conducting student assessments and evaluations.
Students are web developers with varying degrees of professional experience.
The language of instruction is English.
This course is split between several lecturers to cover advanced topics in Frontend Development. We are looking for topics that are not tied to a specific framework, for example: web components, frontend security concerns, accessability, … Topics that already covered elsewhere: performance, testing, CSS and design systems. In your application please offer one or two topics that you could cover.
Profile
We are looking for applicants (m/f/x) with practical experience in frontend development. A degree is a formal requirement.
